July 4/2007 ,
a new wire Harness again , Claus , the Owner in-between the wires.
A advantage - as the AÌM MXL was chosen as Dash , MXL has a pre-definite CAN Protocol for different Motec ECU's, which makes it very easy to let the Motec M800 communicate with the Dash . Otherwise you'd have to double-wire each Component you'd like to display . But now the CAN-Bus is routing everything , just Bat+/- the CAN
high and low , means 4 ! wires , that's it !

Introduction , written June 10th 2007 :
A friend of mine gave me the initial Spark for a real rebuild of a CBR 600 /06 .
Driven by his emphatic Energy to go for the Maximum , we developed a real lightweight concept for all CBR600 RR Nuts Racers.
Mainly its :
A 3 pieces Combo of
-Carbon Tailsection Monocoque , needs no Subframe ( 1200 gr , 2,64 lbs )
- a 10 liter Carbon Fueltank , with mounting opportunity for OEM Fuelpump ( 1150 gr , 2,53 lbs )
- A carbon Fueltank Cover (dummy ) ( 500gr , 1,1 lbs )
This Combo ( summed up ) is total 2850 gr , means still less than 50 % of the OEM Fueltank only !
Next :
A Racing-alternator , which has 65 % less rotational Inertia vs. the OEM Alternator
Then :
A electrical Waterpump with totally different routing of hoses , and so on , for maximum weight-loose
Aluminum Clutch-Plates , which save more than 1 lbs rotating mass
Smaller Battery
Lighweight full Titanium Exhaust
PVM Special Mag-Wheels
Special Brakediscs with grooves for Traction-Control-Sensors
Special Gilles triple clamps
Öhlins Fork
Öhlins shock
Special rearsets with Quickshift-Sensor
Carbon fairings
Radial CNC Brakemaster
520 Chain
Lightweight handlebars
.........and many more
ECU - Motec M800 ECU, with Sensors, for :
Front fork travel
Shock travel
Brakepressure
Lambda-Control
Quickshift
Traction-Control
......and of course Data-logging and much more stuff

May 18/2007 -CBR 600RR 05/06 .
Status quo of the 600rr 1,5 days before we're moving to the track . The square Carbon box is a Fueltank .
We had big trouble with the Ignition , solved the prob provisionally..... with some RC30 Parts.
More to come soon .
April 28/2007 -CBR 600RR 05/06 :
Monocoque done , so - a Tailsection , which needs no Subframe .
Weight : 1280 gr ( or 2.78 lbs )
Material : Carbon
Resin : Epoxy
End of May I will also have a track Fueltank / 9 Liters ~ 1650 gr ( 3.6 lbs ) and a Fueltank-Cover / 500 gr (1.1lbs ) available
I know , this is somehow not the right addressee here to mention it , but I do not have a own CBR600 Site , so I thought I just drop it here .
Things anyway will change soon ( ~ September ), where all my projects and Products will appear below ONE roof .
However , here it is - no one should say I'm lazy .
February 03/2007
Regarding :
CBR600RR 03-06
At present here a friend of mine and me develop a Monocoque /Fueltankcover / Fueltank for maximum weight saving and lowv center of Gravity.
This 3-pcs Setup will have a approx weight of :
500gr Carbon Fueltank Cover - 1.1 lbs
1250gr Carbon Monocoque-Tailsection ( eliminates the Subframe ) - 2,76 lbs
1600gr Carbon Fueltank - 3.54 lbs
Total for everything : 7.40 lbs = 3,35 kg
That's less than half of what the OEM Fueltank has without Fuelpump .
